We Solve Puzzles.

If you’ve never attempted a Tavern Puzzle, I suggest you get one immediately. At first, they appear to be a mess of tangled wrought iron. Then you find out that the objective is to “get the ring off”. As a kid in upstate New York, I would get these colonial folk toys as gifts. The story behind the puzzle-smith, Dennis Sucilsky, is also intriguing.

Supporting marketing and branding efforts, we’re still playing these same old games. And the simple rules haven’t changed a bit:

• if it doesn’t fit, don’t force it.
• if you folded it, flipped it, and twisted it in every direction and it’s not working, try something else.
• there is a solution, and you can find it.
• if you lose your patience, the puzzle wins.
